The athlete’s health check is intended for goal-oriented athletes. The difference to a regular health check, e.g. done by a school or occupational health doctor, is that the check is done especially from the point of view of the requirements of sports training. The examination is performed by a doctor specializing in sports medicine.
Instructions
- Book your appointment online or by calling 03 282 9333 (Mon-Thurs 8.30am-3pm).
- Fill out the athlete’s health questionnaire, i.e. preliminary information form.
- For a young athlete, it is good to have growth charts with you.
Small blood count (PVK) + Ferritin (P- or S-Ferrit) + Vitamin D (S-D-25)
Visit the laboratory in advance and take the blood test results with you to the examination. You can also access private laboratories without a referral, on the public health side you need a referral from a health center or school health care.
